Despite what it says in the description, practitioners new to aesthetics would not benefit from this book as this book is geared more for an experienced provider. This book provides limited, outdated illustrations. It does not include cannula teachings, which is primarily used in aesthetics practice today. This book does not review relevant anatomy including areas to avoid. Injection sites are merely pointed at without further information.. However, it doesn’t show underlying anatomy of vessels and nerves. This book is unsafe for new aesthetics providers. The website description of the book as stated and the actual book DO NOT line up. You cannot write in your description that the book has all these features, and it does not. It's misleading and leads to unsafe practice for practitioners new to this field of medicine.
There is nothing in this book that you cant already find online. Comes with a code for access to online info that is just as mediocre. Don't waste your money.
Great book, straight to the point..useful to any injectors
It is a wonderful book, but a little bit outdated since most doctors use cannules now. It still worth reading for a introduction.
After buying Dr. Small's excellent Botulinum toxin book, I had to buy her Dermal Fillers book, very impressed again by another easy to follow, yet very educative, well organized book. It's very useful for both experienced and novice injectors.
This is a must have if you are a new injector or even a refresher
