This is just the book I've been looking for. I'm a amateur botanist of sorts, interested in trees and their lineages, but could never find a book that went very far past the genus and family, with practically nothing on the overall shifts in cladistics. This book has only a small amount on each genus or family, but it's more than I'm used to, and the explanatory chapters are fine. (Yes, tough reading, but this is current botany!)

This book is the epitimy of Phylogenetic information for anyone interested in Botany. I got this for a University Plant Taxonomy class, but I use it all the time for reference. A lovely CD accompanies this book and is and additional assistance to study. I wouldn't be without this book. It also arrived in perfect condition, packed really nice, and FAST, too. And at a much better price than other sellers, thank you very much for the opportunity to purchase this great botanical book !
